In 2004 there was a significant change in the market resulting in numerous new and interesting, natural materials being used in external installations for domestic and commercial clients. The impressive, contemporary designs that can be achieved with these materials benefit greatly from correct protection and maintenance.
Until recently the only suitable, specialist products available in the UK for cleaning and protecting stone were intended for internal use. Whilst the products are of exemplary quality they are too expensive for external use. There has been a requirement for a high quality range of products tailored specifically for the types of stone that are now commonly used outside. Hence the launch of United Stonecare.
None of the existing products that are sold in DIY stores or builders merchants are correct for use on high quality natural stone and many will actually damage it. We have been working with our current suppliers in order to satisfy the demand for tried, tested and trusted products that are chosen for external stone. All of the products are well known and have been used by our contracting teams and customers for many years.
